The Land

Finca El Paraiso is the culmination of generations of passion and expertise. Producer Wil Armijo, a third-generation coffee grower originally from Yoro, relocated to Santa Bárbara in the 1990s. In 1998, he was captivated by the exceptional potential of the land in San José de Los Andes and established what is now known as El Paraiso. At an elevation of 1,550 meters, the farm provides an ideal environment for specialty coffee. Since 2015, through meticulous cultivation and the guidance of the San Vicente team, Wil has unlocked the full potential of his land, producing micro-lots that evolve in complexity season after season.

The Process

This lot features the Pacas varietal, meticulously prepared using the Washed process. It serves as a testament to Wil Armijo’s technical evolution and dedication to quality. By focusing on precision during the fermentation and washing stages, the natural characteristics of the Pacas variety are elevated, resulting in a cup with vibrant acidity and a remarkably juicy mouthfeel. It is a refined expression of the Santa Bárbara region—clean, balanced, and sophisticated.
